Applied Kinesiology (AK)
Applied Kinesiology is a system that evaluates structural, chemical and mental aspects of health using manual muscle testing in conjunction with other standard diagnostic methods.
The locomotor system, your muscles, are the window to the nervous system. Through muscle testing we can assess much more than just the proper functioning of the locomotor system.
Due to the relationship between organs and muscles – visceromotor reflexes – and between muscles and acupuncture meridians, manual muscle testing offers us a very valuable tool to find problems in our systems even before symptoms appear.
Applied Kinesiology treatments may include chiropractic adjustments, craniosacral techniques, myofascial work, acupuncture, testing of supplements and offenders, and various neurological reflex techniques.
